The 7th Grand Canyon History Symposium will be held next year November 4–6, 2027,  at the Shrine of the Ages.

The goals of the symposium are to increase the knowledge and understanding of the history pertaining to the Grand Canyon and surrounding region, and to promote communication and sharing among Grand Canyon historians, writers, and enthusiasts.

The Symposium planning committee is seeking papers pertaining to Grand Canyon history including: Native American history, exploration of the Canyon and plateau country, art history, prospecting and mining, the Colorado River, Grand Canyon Village, roads and trails, the National Park Service, and any other pertinent topic. Presenters will have 30 minutes for their presentations, including time for questions and answers.
