The Grand Canyon Historical Society offers symposia, field trips and outings, publishes monographs, supports research through grants, and engages in other exciting history projects.

The Grand Canyon Historical Society is a Tier II affiliate of the

Our History:

The Grand Canyon Historical Society was founded in 1984 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Originally called the Grand Canyon Pioneers Society, the current name was adopted in 2002.

Our Mission:

The Grand Canyon Historical Society celebrates and promotes the study and preservation of the Grand Canyon regions cultural and natural history for the education and enjoyment of its members and the public.

The Grand Canyon Historical Society is a non-profit corporation under IRS Code 501(c)(3).
