1956 Grand Canyon Midair Collision 69th Anniversary Flower Laying Commemoration at the South Rim and in Flagstaff

Monday, June 30, 2025

1) South Rim Pioneer Cemetery, 11:00 am (MST/PDT) until 11:30 am. Moment of Silence at the Time of the Collision: 11:30 to 11:40 AM.

2) Citizens’ Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco St., Flagstaff at 2:00 pm MDT/PDT until 2:30 pm.

Tom Sulpizio conducted two flower laying ceremonies and presented  speeches specific to each memorial.  Here are Tom’s remarks from the gatherings at the United memorial in the South Rim Pioneer Cemetery and at the TWA memorial in Flagstaff.
