GCHS President Tom Sulpizio is organizing an informal field trip to see the destruction and damage caused by the 2025 Dragon Bravo Fire. Several GCHS members have already visited this year since the May re-opening. Their photos showing the sites damaged or destroyed by the fire are very moving.  Treasurer Robert Lauzon took these photos in late July.

There are currently two spots left on the trip.

When: 9:30am (Arizona Time) Monday September 28, 2026

Where: Meet at Jacob Lake Inn (intersection of AZ-67 and US-89A)

The Plan: We will carpool to the damaged areas (one hour drive) and then return to Jacob Lake Inn for an optional lunch at their excellent restaurant.
